Like the author says we all want to be on Google’s top page and very few of us are able to. I am one of those who decided to buy this book and I am so glad I did. It stopped me wasting time with out of date advice on forums. I learnt a lot in just a week and four weeks after I bought it I found my website on Google’s top page for two of my keywords! I need to work on about couple of dozen more now but at least this has really worked for me and the results, wow! I am thrilled! Buy this and you will not regret it!

I bought SEO Help on the advice of the website developer who helped me build my website. It is incredibly easy to understand, fantastic! It shows you in a step-by-step way what you need for your website to show up high on search engines. This whole Google thing had me freaked out in the beginning, but after reading it and starting to work on my website I have seen such improvement. I feel totally confident that I will get my site up high on all search engines soon.

The book focuses on Google because it’s true, most of the traffic comes from that search engine. But I have seen my site’s ranking improve in both Yahoo and BING and I’m thrilled. The book is totally practical, there’s no theory. If you want to know how search engines work you should try something else, but if you want to know what to do to get your site moving up fast on the search engine rankings then this is definitely a book you should read.

This has been an incredibly useful SEO book. I have read books on SEO before but I found them either too complicated and theoretical or written with a large SEO team in mind. This has been a breath of fresh air. The author breaks down the art of SEO into manageable chunks. I was able to get going on my website after the first hour of reading and I have learnt loads since I bought the book. Some things I was doing well anyway (which is nice to know) but there were a lot of tips which I did not even know and would not have found out otherwise. What I loved best is that for a technical book the author has a very easy-going, accessible style and a wry sense of humor. It definitely helped me to shed my fear of online promotion and get my hands dirty big time. Will my site make it to the top of Googles first page? I really hope so. The change I have seen in positioning after just four days work is so encouraging I am really not going to let up until I get there and now, at last, I know what to do!

I am like any other webmaster or business owner with websites – short of time, on a budget and with too many demands being made on my time. I have known that I needed to do something about SEO for some time now, but hiring a firm is too expensive and I am never sure how to check what they do (or at least I didn’t until now) and doing it myself was something I was not sure I could do. SEO Help opened my eyes. The author has an easy style which is a pleasure to read, he has made SEO easy to understand and the 20-step breakdown is nothing less than inspired. I found myself starting at step one and going all the way to step 20 (I will be going back and repeating a few of them only a little more carefully this time!)

Based on what I know now I feel confident enough to do my own SEO work under any circumstances and, more importantly, I feel that I know how to check when things change in the search engine world and then what to do about it. I feel informed about some of the mysteries in the SEO world.

As a layperson who did not have a lot of understanding of search engine optimization I have no difficulty recommending this book to anyone who wants to know more about SEO, who wants easy to understand instructions and who really wants to see results fast.

Thanks for an informative book. Kathy Heshelow

SEO is usually shrouded in acronyms, obscure practices and tends to give uncertain results. It was refreshing therefore, as a layman, to find a book which spoke my language. The author’s an expert and his approach on a step-by-step way to demystify the subject is great. I found myself thinking of what I can do to better optimize my website right from chapter one. His tips on creating effective time-saving techniques for better optimization are perfect and for once I felt that here was my very own DIY SEO manual written in a way which did not require me to understand a single line of code or anything about search engine theory. I have started to make copious notes on everything and I feel confident that it is only a matter of time before my own site starts to perform better on search engines. The book touches upon social marketing and employing social networks in order to make SEO gains, I hope the author considers bringing one out on social network marketing on its own. For me this is a big winner!
